So many times I've been ironing a shirt or pants and I find a grease stain. The item is clean but the grease stayed. What I do is this: Take a small amount of baking soda on a teaspoon and sprinkle it on the stain while the item is on the ironing board. Make sure you cover the stain and cannot see any material through the baking soda. With the iron on a heavy steam setting, steamm over the area not touching the fabric Next, place the iron directly on the baking soda for a moment. Most light grease will be gone when you brush the baking soda away.
For items such as silk or anything delicate, do not use the iron directly on the fabric. Steam over it and then lay a clean white hankerchief over the baking soda and iron it that way. Again, once the baking soda is brushed away (shake it out on delicates), the stain is gone too.
This process helps avoid washing the item again and again to remove the stain.

I have a 2nd hand clothing shop and some of the cloths have stains on that I can't get out. Fat stains, on pants the knees of small children and yellow stains on white clothes. Please help. My hands can't take the rubbing anymore with some or results st all. Thank you
